The Escalating Situation in the Middle East and Global Attention

The situation in the Middle East region escalated further on March 10, 2026. Zamin.uz reported this.
The conflict between the United States, Israel, and Iran has deepened, drawing global attention. President Donald Trump addressed the public with conciliatory words, emphasizing that war-related expenditures and human casualties are merely temporary.
According to him, hostilities will end soon and peace will be restored. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not confirm this and stated that military operations against the Iranian leadership have not yet ceased.
He said that the main goal is to overthrow the current regime, and Israel continues to implement its plan. Instability in the region has also left its mark on Iraqi territory.
Five members of pro-Iranian forces were killed as a result of an unidentified airstrike in the city of Kirkuk. At the same time, Iran launched new attacks against several Arab states in the Persian Gulf.
Drones and missiles were fired at the territories of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi rejected negotiations with the US for now, stating that Tehran is ready to continue its military responses indefinitely.
These events have had a significant impact on the global economy, particularly energy markets. Ship traffic was temporarily halted in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical point for oil supply routes.
This situation caused sharp fluctuations in oil prices. After a slight decline, the price per barrel of oil quickly approached one hundred and twenty dollars.
The unexpected drop in prices occurred after President Trump warned that the US military would take necessary measures to keep the strait open as an international trade route. Currently, all parties are closely monitoring developments in the coming days.
