Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently addressed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

His primary objective is to request assistance from Kyiv in combating the threat posed by drones originating from Iran. This was reported by Israel's reputable Ynet news portal.

According to the publication's sources, the Tel Aviv leader based his decision on Ukraine's successful experience in acquiring unmanned aerial vehicles during its prolonged war with Russia. The possibilities for cooperation between the two states in the field of air defense were thoroughly discussed.

Ukraine's Ambassador to Israel, Yevhen Korniychuk, expressed his views on the matter, acknowledging Kyiv's experience in modern drones and confirming readiness for cooperation. It was noted that no direct conversation has yet taken place between the leaders of the two countries.

This situation demonstrates an effort to further strengthen diplomatic and military ties between the two nations. Earlier, reports circulated that Iran had declared Ukrainian territory a legitimate target for strikes due to the aid provided by Israel.

At the same time, it was also revealed that Ukraine's leadership had sent local experts to the Middle East to combat the drone threat. Meanwhile, US leadership emphasized in its statement that it does not currently require Ukraine's assistance.

Such events highlight the significant importance of global security concerning Iran's nuclear arsenal and its military capabilities. Joint efforts by all parties remain crucial for stabilizing the situation in the region.
