Uzbekistan has delivered large-scale humanitarian aid to the people of Iran

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan officially announced the dispatch of a humanitarian aid shipment to the Islamic Republic of Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main purpose of this aid is to provide essential assistance to the needy population. The shipment includes food products vital for human life, various medicines, and medical supplies.
This aid consists of flour, rice, sugar, pasta, sunflower oil, and various canned goods. Additionally, the shipment contains pharmaceutical products and other medical equipment necessary for public health.
Uzbek officials confirmed the successful delivery and handover of the humanitarian aid to the Iranian side. A special welcoming ceremony was organized to honor the receipt of the shipment.
The event was attended by Mojtaba Bazmara, the mayor of Daragaz city in Iran, Ali Masumifar, advisor to the Iranian Foreign Minister and head of the Razavi Khorasan province office, as well as Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, the Iranian ambassador to Turkmenistan. During the ceremony, deep gratitude was expressed by Iran to the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Iranian officials highly appreciated the attention shown to their people, turning it into an example of humanitarianism. They spoke about how this step by Uzbekistan serves to further strengthen the long-standing friendship, mutual understanding, and traditions of mutual assistance between the two brotherly peoples during difficult times.
This event once again demonstrated Uzbekistan's responsible approach to humanitarian issues in the region and its sincere cooperation with neighboring countries.
