Uzbek woman is being treated in serious condition after falling in Izmir
According to the information from the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul, 22-year-old Uzbek citizen Sevdora Hakimjonova fell from the fourth floor of the multi-story building where she lived in Izmir. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

She is currently being treated in a state hospital. According to doctors, her condition is serious.

The consulate announced that the situation is under control regarding the incident. According to the information, Hakimjonova entered into a religious marriage with a Turkish citizen, but this marriage was not officially registered.

The marriage ceremony took place in Chust district of Namangan region. Later, the couple moved to Izmir and lived in the same house with the groom's close relatives.

It was also revealed that Hakimjonova's husband, like her, has hearing and speech impairments. A criminal case has been initiated by the Turkish law enforcement agencies regarding the incident.

Investigators are actively working to clarify all the details of the event. The collected materials are being reviewed by the prosecutor's office in the prescribed manner.
