Qatar has stopped the free hotel program for tourists

Qatari officials announced the suspension of the free hotel accommodation program for tourists in the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In this regard, the Russian Embassy in Qatar reminded tourists that they must leave the country or extend their hotel stay by March 15. According to the embassy, it is recommended that Russian tourists leave the country via Qatar Airways flight departing to Moscow on March 14 at 11:40.

Tourists also have the option to exit through the "Abu Samra" land border crossing point. Afterwards, they can continue their journey by air via Saudi Arabia or the United Arab Emirates.

Qatar had introduced the free accommodation and meals program in hotels following the outbreak of conflicts between Israel, the USA, and Iran. The suspension of this program establishes new rules and opportunities for tourists.

Tourists should take these changes into account when planning their trips. It is also recommended to follow the embassy's instructions regarding leaving the country or extending the hotel stay.
