According to the research, the total capitalization of the world's top twenty-five restaurant brands amounts to one hundred ninety billion one hundred million dollars. Interesting changes were observed at the top levels of the ranking.
Although Starbucks retained second place, due to fierce competition in the Chinese market, the brand's value decreased by four percent, falling to thirty-seven billion dollars. KFC, continuing to win consumers' affection, completed the strong top three with an eight percent growth.

Subway increased in value by eighteen percent thanks to focusing on digital sales and international markets. Interestingly, while the chain is expanding abroad, the number of its outlets in the US domestic market has fallen to the lowest level in the last twenty years.
The most sensational event of this year's ranking was the triumphant march of Chinese brands. Mixue, Haidilao, and Luckin Coffee entered the strong top twenty-five for the first time.
