US President Donald Trump announced that the military operation conducted by Washington against Iran has reached a decisive stage in achieving its main objectives. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

On March 20, addressing the public through his social media network, he emphasized that combat operations are very close to fulfilling pre-determined tasks. According to the President, the issue of reducing large-scale military operations in the Middle East is also being seriously considered at this time.

Donald Trump stated that Iran's missile capabilities, their launch systems, and the infrastructure serving this process are being completely eliminated. Additionally, inflicting significant damage on Iran's defense industry is among the objectives.

Military actions are aimed at neutralizing Iran's naval and air forces, including modern air defense systems. The main goal of this campaign is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons in the future and to protect American allies in the region.

Ensuring the security of countries such as Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Kuwait is one of the important tasks. President Trump also expressed his opinion in that statement regarding ensuring security in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to him, other countries using this vital waterway must ensure their own security. Washington can provide assistance if requested, but it was stated that such aid will not be necessary after the Iranian threat is eliminated.

Previously, he criticized NATO allies, blaming them for not participating in opening the strait. A few hours before this news, during a conversation with journalists, the President said there is no need to rush to cease fire with Iran.

He emphasized that a large part of Tehran's military potential has been lost and, while the US is defeating its rival, it is still too early to achieve peace. In his opinion, signing a peace treaty before victory is complete is illogical.
