No new tax in the US to cover war costs with Iran

The United States government currently has sufficient financial resources to cover potential military conflicts with Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
However, to ensure the armed forces are fully equipped in all aspects for the future, additional funding is being requested from Congress. This important announcement was made by US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent during an interview with NBC News.
Without citing specific figures, the Minister emphasized that there are currently no plans to impose new taxes on the population or increase existing tax rates to cover war expenses. According to him, there is enough money in the state treasury for current military operations, but the discussion concerns future additional investments.
President Donald Trump is continuing the policy implemented during his first term and aims to further strengthen the military in his second term. His main goal is to ensure that the armed forces are fully equipped with all necessary equipment and resources for the future.
At the same time, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also stated last week in his speech that while funds are sufficient for military tasks already completed and projects expected to be implemented in the future, there is a need for additional funding. These measures demonstrate systematic work aimed at strengthening national security and increasing military readiness.
