North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un Re-elected

According to the Korea Central News Agency, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has been re-elected as the Chairman of State Affairs, the highest state position in the country. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was approved at the first session of the 15th Supreme People's Assembly and demonstrated the further strengthening of his power in government administration. State media covered this decision with great ceremony.
Kim Jong Un was described as the great leader, strategist, and guide of national development and change. According to the official statement, his reappointment serves to strengthen the republic's authority, increase state power, and advance the country's long-term political goals.
The re-election occurred after an important political decision made at the beginning of the year. At the end of February, Kim Jong Un was also re-elected as the General Secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The highest position in the party and the title of Chairman of State Affairs once again confirm his central role in North Korea's leadership system. Kim Jong Un is considered the third generation of the Kim dynasty that has ruled North Korea since its establishment in 1948.
He was declared the country's supreme leader in December 2011 after the death of his father, Kim Jong Il. In 2012, he officially assumed the positions of First Secretary of the ruling party and Chairman of the National Defense Commission, formalizing his power.
In 2016, North Korea abolished the position of Chairman of the National Defense Commission and introduced the position of Chairman of State Affairs instead. In the same year, Kim received the title of party chairman, and in 2021 he became the general secretary.
He also serves as the Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army and has direct control over the country's military structure. Attention around his daughter Kim Ju Ae is also increasing.
Since 2022, she has appeared at official events alongside her father. According to South Korean officials, she is likely being prepared as a potential successor, but Pyongyang has not yet made any official statements on this matter.
