Trump said the Bosphorus Strait may reopen soon.

United States President Donald Trump acknowledged that the strategically very important Hormuz Strait may reopen soon. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
He discussed this topic in detail during a conversation with journalists and openly expressed his views. According to the president, if all planned processes are carried out on time, there is a possibility that ship traffic on the sea route will be fully restored in the coming days.
He also said that it is not impossible for the US and Iran to jointly establish control over this important route. The American leader paid special attention to ongoing negotiations with Iran and evaluated their results as effective.
According to him, due to constructive dialogue, Washington has temporarily postponed plans to strike Iran's energy infrastructure. It became known that Trump’s special representatives Steve Whitkoff and Jared Kushner recently held a meeting with a high-ranking Iranian official.
The parties expressed their interest in reaching an agreement and agreed to continue communications. However, Trump remains cautious about the outcome of the negotiations.
He stated that if an agreement is reached, the issue will be resolved peacefully. Otherwise, the US will not retreat from its position and will continue to increase pressure.
Iranian officials, meanwhile, emphasize that there has been no direct or indirect communication with the US leader so far and deny information on this matter. The Hormuz Strait is considered crucial for the global energy market.
The restoration of oil and gas supplies through this route could lead to a decrease in prices on the global market and a reduction in fuel costs. It is worth noting that on March 3, Iran announced the closure of this strait.
Meanwhile, this issue remains urgent on the international stage, and the coming days could be decisive for the fate of the region and the entire global energy market.
