The approval rating of US President Donald Trump has plummeted amid new conflicts in the Middle East, reaching its lowest point in history. Zamin.uz reports this.

According to the results of recent polls, his rating stands at just 36 percent. This figure was 47 percent in the first months after he returned to office and 40 percent before the conflicts in the Middle East began.

Thus, it is clear that the situation is deteriorating daily. Data from extensive surveys conducted by Reuters and Ipsos indicate that only half of the American population fully supports Trump's price policy.

Specifically, only 25 percent of citizens approve of the president's efforts to control prices in the economy. Overall economic indicators are even worse, with only 29 percent of the population rating the White House leader's economic course highly.

At the same time, 61 percent of the population considers the US military actions against Iran to be incorrect and unfounded. A large majority, 63 percent, assesses the current state of the country's economy as weak.

Experts point to the escalating conflicts with Iran and the sharp rise in gasoline prices and living costs in daily life as the main reasons for such a significant drop in ratings. These factors are directly affecting people's standard of living.

A crucial point is that during his election campaign, Donald Trump promised to avoid new wars and emphasized maintaining peace. However, today's conflicts with Iran and rising oil prices are putting serious pressure on his political position.

Failing to meet public expectations and shooting down the promised peace has led to this outcome. In the current situation, the president's political future remains highly uncertain.
