Sanches Netanyahu sharply criticizes and calls the war illogical.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has sharply criticized Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu regarding recent events in the Middle East, particularly in the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
In a speech before the Spanish Parliament, he described Israel's military offensives in both Lebanon and Gaza as similar and warned that this path could lead to even greater instability in the region. According to Sánchez, the current military approach not only intensifies tensions but also distracts attention from solving economic, social, and environmental problems that are crucial for humanity.
He characterized the war as illegal, illogical, and a serious mistake, considering silence in the face of such unjust processes not as simple caution but as cowardice. The Spanish government is increasingly intensifying its rhetoric regarding the conflict and noted that remaining silent in this situation could lead to financial or political losses.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that the escalation of measures taken by the US and Israel against Iran is further complicating the situation. In his view, the already fragile regional situation is being further inflamed by this additional pressure, increasing the risk of a large-scale crisis.
World leaders and foreign powers must control this process, support peaceful paths, and prevent humanitarian disasters. Otherwise, the wave in the Middle East could spread to the entire world, leading to long-term conflicts.
In his speech, the Spanish Prime Minister considers supporting solutions based on peace and justice an obligation for all states and calls for making the right use of the present moment to avoid wrong steps in the future.
