Pentagon developed four new military scenarios for Iran
The situation in the Middle East is escalating daily, and the risk of disrupting peace in the region has increased. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In the absence of a diplomatic agreement, the US leadership plans to take new and tougher measures regarding Iran. According to reports from reputable media outlets, the Pentagon has developed four main military scenarios for its former president Donald Trump.

All these plans involve large-scale air strikes and the deployment of troops to strategically important areas. According to the first scenario, an attack on or a complete blockade of Kharg Island, which supplies a large portion of Iran's oil exports, is planned.

These measures are aimed at delivering a serious blow to Tehran's economy and stopping its flow of funds. In the second option, special forces may be deployed to Larak Island to destroy Iran's naval forces, drones, and radar systems in the Strait of Hormuz.

The third plan envisions capturing strategic islands such as Abu Musa and gaining control over sea routes. The fourth and most dangerous scenario is a direct attack on nuclear facilities in Iran or bombing them from the air.

Currently, there is a consensus in the White House regarding these plans. Some officials believe that such a show of force will strengthen the US position during negotiations.

However, other groups are concerned about the escalation of war and the casualties among American soldiers. The Iranian side is also anticipating a possible attack and has organized serious defense measures on Kharg Island.

New troops, mines, and modern missile systems have been deployed there. The age-old question remains whether the US is truly ready for a large-scale military operation and what consequences this would have for the global economy?
