The Pentagon is planning a land military operation in the Eron region.

It is reported that the Pentagon has begun serious preparations for possible ground military operations in Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to American media sources, this process is expected to last from several weeks to two months. Currently, the plans under consideration do not include a large-scale invasion of the entire territory of Iran.
The main focus is on targeting weapons bases capable of attacking trade and military ships along the shores of the Strait of Hormuz, as well as gaining control over Khorramshahr Island, which is the main export route for Iranian oil. Special forces and regular infantry troops are planned to participate in carrying out such tasks.
Military experts emphasize that any mission conducted on land poses a serious threat to American soldiers. In combat situations, it will be difficult for them to be safe from missile and drone attacks, as well as from hidden explosive devices and close-range shootings.
So far, it is unclear whether US President Donald Trump has officially approved this action or not. The White House press secretary stated that the Pentagon's task is to be prepared for all possible scenarios and to provide the commander-in-chief with freedom of action, but did not provide clear information about the final decision.
A letter from the reserve troops commander has circulated on social networks, calling for a check of combat readiness. Although the authenticity of this letter has not yet been confirmed, it is increasing general concern.
At the same time, the number of military ships that have arrived in the Middle East has reached a level capable of accommodating more than a thousand marines. The 82nd Airborne Division is also fully prepared.
According to recent survey results, a large majority of Americans express opposition to the use of armed forces in Iranian territory. This indicates that future decisions will depend on public support.
