North Korea successfully tested a new engine capable of reaching US territory
North Korean state media officially announced the successful test of an improved jet rocket engine on the twenty-ninth of March. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to information disseminated by mass media, this engine, belonging to a new generation, is specially designed for long-range missiles and is theoretically assessed to have the capability to reach US territory. It was specifically noted that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un personally observed the testing process.

The country's leader evaluated this new development as an important achievement that further strengthens the state's strategic military potential, indicating the consistency of Pyongyang's activities in the field of military technologies. According to the Korean Central News Agency, the engine made from composite carbon material reportedly reached a maximum thrust of one thousand five hundred kilonewtons.

This figure is significantly higher than that of the engine tested in September last year, proving a considerable increase in power and efficiency of the new technology. North Korean officials state that they aim to create maneuverable missiles that are much harder to intercept by air defense systems.

However, among international experts, there is a question of whether such engines truly enable flights over such long distances. Some analysts suggest that these claims might be somewhat exaggerated.

At the same time, specialists emphasize that missiles with solid-fuel engines are more convenient in terms of concealment, transportation, and rapid launch compared to liquid-fueled ones. This is considered a major advantage from a military strategy perspective.

In short, this test is regarded as an important signal that could seriously impact not only the regional but also the global security environment. The international community continues to closely monitor North Korea's military achievements and approaches future developments with caution.
