Dangerous fugitive criminal Mazzarella arrested in Italy

The police stated that he did not offer any resistance. 48-year-old Roberto ranks fourth on the list of Italy's most wanted by the Ministry of the Interior.
He had been wanted since January 28, 2025. Mazzarella was accused in the 2000 murder of Antonio Maione.
Antonio Maione's brother, Ivan, admitted to killing Mazzarella's father, Salvatore, in 1995. The arrest operation involved the Carabinieri investigation unit, the Italian Air Force, and the Salerno coastal guard service.
They monitored the surrounding waters and tracked movements. The raid uncovered 20,000 euros in cash, three expensive watches, mobile phones, and fake identity documents.
