SpaceX company ended the last financial year with billions of dollars in losses

SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk, ended the last financial year with a significant loss. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to information distributed by international news agencies, although the company generated $18.5 billion in revenue, total expenses significantly exceeded income. As a result, the annual net loss amounted to $5 billion.
Experts explain these financial indicators by the company's massive investments aimed at developing technological infrastructure. One of the main reasons for the financial losses is cited as the acquisition of the xAI artificial intelligence startup in February.
If this acquisition and its associated costs were not taken into account, SpaceX would have actually made a profit. In previous reports, the company had planned to achieve over $15 billion in revenue and nearly $8 billion in net profit for 2025.
Musk's strategic goal is to integrate artificial intelligence infrastructure with space technologies and expand data centers. Tesla and Intel are also contributing to these projects.
Since SpaceX is a private organization, it does not regularly disclose its financial reports to the public. However, the company has begun initial processes for issuing securities on stock exchanges.
If an IPO takes place in the near future, investors will have more accurate information about the company's cash flows and internal financial state. According to market analysts' forecasts, if shares are offered for open trade, SpaceX's market value could reach $1.75 trillion.
At the current stage, the company continues to direct funds toward new developments to maintain its technological superiority.
