Twelve people detained for attacking the Israeli consulate in Istanbul
Turkish law enforcement agencies are rapidly continuing investigations into an armed attack on the Israeli consulate building in Istanbul. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Twelve individuals suspected of involvement in this crime have been detained. According to investigation findings, the detained citizens are accused of calling for violent actions and providing weapons to those who carried out the terrorist act.

Law enforcement agencies have expanded the investigation process to determine other criminal connections and goals of this group. As a reminder, this horrific attack that occurred in Istanbul on April 7th of this year caused great concern among the public.

During the clashes, one of the attackers was neutralized at the scene, and two others were detained with bodily injuries. A Turkish police officer performing his duties at the time was also seriously injured and passed away in the hospital despite all efforts by doctors.

Currently, Istanbul police and relevant security services have strengthened security measures in the city. The investigation process is being conducted in a transparent and strict manner.

Official agencies stated that additional information regarding the organizations behind this crime and their intentions will be announced soon. The country's leadership and law enforcement system emphasize that they will continue to fight uncompromisingly against such violations of order.
