Libyan denied reports about negotiations with Israel

Lebanese officials stated that they have no information regarding expected negotiations with Israel. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to a report by the AFP news agency citing government sources, representatives in Beirut emphasized that no proposals or official notifications on this matter have been received through international communication channels. This situation arose following statements made by US President Donald Trump on social media.
The leader of the United States had written that negotiations could be held to ease the sharp tensions between Israel and Lebanon and to stabilize the situation. However, it is known that whether this proposal was conveyed at an official level or if an agreement was reached between the two countries has not yet been confirmed.
Additionally, important details such as where the speculated meetings would take place and which level of state officials would participate have not been disclosed. The denial from the Lebanese side indicates that the negotiation process is still in its early stages or that communication mechanisms between the parties have not been fully established.
Currently, tensions in the region remain high, and the international community and neighboring countries hope that the situation does not worsen further. Although efforts to reach an agreement through diplomatic channels continue, it appears that there are no concrete agreements yet for taking practical steps.
