Iran Parliament Speaker ready to give his life for the homeland

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf stated that he is ready to make any sacrifice, including giving his own life, to defend the country national interests and the rights of the people. In his view, self-sacrifice for the homeland and for faith is the highest goal and the truest success a person can achieve.
In his speech the Speaker emphasised that, for him, ensuring people rights is more important than his personal reputation and even his own life. Ghalibaf openly declared that he considers martyrdom to be the greatest achievement and that he is ready to mobilise all of his capabilities for the interests of society.
This statement has attracted broad public attention amid Iran complex political situation and intensifying external pressure. According to political analysts, such sharp and emotionally charged statements are often aimed at demonstrating internal political determination and strengthening trust among the population.
Until now, no other government bodies or official organisations have reacted to these remarks. However, the views put forward by the head of parliament are expected to further heat up the political atmosphere in the country.
