Schoolboy Stabs Peer in Azerbaijan

On April 21 of this year, a distressing incident occurred at a school in the Agstafa district of Azerbaijan, as reported by Zamin.uz. According to available information, a dispute arose between ninth and eighth-grade students of the educational institution.
The conflict quickly escalated, resulting in physical injury. Local media outlets reported on the matter.
During the confrontation, a ninth-grade student struck a schoolmate one year his junior with a sharp object. Consequently, the 14-year-old teenager sustained injuries and was immediately rushed to the district hospital.
A medical examination revealed a wound to the victim's left thigh. Doctors provided all necessary primary medical care.
Specialists stated that the teenager's overall condition is stable and not life-threatening. Therefore, he was discharged for outpatient treatment at home.
Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the case. Responsible officers have begun examining the details of the incident to identify the perpetrator and take legal action.
The school administration also responded to the event, stating that the victim's condition is under constant supervision. Furthermore, considering the minor status of the parties involved, officials urge the public not to spread unfounded rumors and to rely only on information provided by official authorities.
