State funeral to be held for Eronda Ali Xomanaiy

Iran has begun official preparations for a state funeral for the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Zamin.uz reported.
International news outlets are reporting on the matter. According to available information, the ceremony had been postponed for three months due to ongoing military confrontations between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
Currently, a special rapid-response headquarters has been established to organize the state-level event, with various government agencies working to ensure the funeral is conducted at the highest level. According to disseminated reports, Ali Khamenei, who had led Iran for over thirty years, passed away on February 28 of this year.
His death is said to have occurred as a result of aerial attacks carried out by the United States and Israel on the first day of military operations. During these strikes, his son and presumed successor, Mojtaba Khamenei, also sustained serious injuries.
It should be emphasized that since assuming the position of Supreme Leader, he had not appeared publicly, and no reliable information about his health has been available. Although some events in his memory were held in April, a full-scale state funeral had been delayed due to the wartime situation.
Iranian officials have not yet disclosed the exact date when the funeral will take place. Nevertheless, coordinating bodies are working to create all necessary conditions for organizing a large-scale and dignified farewell ceremony across the country.
This funeral is expected to be a significant event in the nation's political life.
