USA topped the rating of the world's most attractive investment countries

In 2026, a ranking of the world’s leading countries by international investor confidence was announced. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The study was based on the results of a survey conducted among more than five hundred senior executives of influential international companies. It evaluated the performance of countries considered the most convenient and promising for investment over the next three years.
According to the ranking results, the main leaders of the past decade remained unchanged, with the United States of America retaining the top position for another year. This confirms that the stability of the U.S. economy, broad market opportunities, and high technological competitiveness continue to inspire confidence among investors.
The United States maintains its strong position in the global investment arena. At the same time, the ranking shows a noticeable decline in China’s position.
While China ranked second in investment attractiveness in 2016, by 2026 it had fallen to fourth place. Experts attribute this to intensifying global economic competition, rising geopolitical risks, and changes in the domestic business environment.
These factors are significantly influencing the decision-making process of international investors. Countries such as Canada and Japan have accordingly taken second and third place in terms of investor confidence.
These nations continue to attract international capital due to their stable economic policies, legal guarantees, and predictable business environment. Additionally, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates have secured strong positions in the top ten.
These countries have enhanced their appeal through economic diversification, development of tourism, and advancement of high technologies. However, analysts warn that the political situation in the Persian Gulf region and various instabilities could negatively affect the future standing of these nations.
Today, for investors, it is not only about the opportunity for high returns, but also about regional security and political stability becoming decisive factors. In summary, the 2026 ranking reflects shifting dynamics in the global economy, while traditional leaders continue to hold their ground.
