Norway imported foodstuffs from the United States in bulk
At the World Cup being held in North America, each national team is focusing not only on on-field preparation but also on every detail off the pitch in their pursuit of success. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to a report distributed by the Spanish publication Diario AS, the Norwegian national football team brought large quantities of Norwegian food products to the United States to maintain their players' physical condition and dietary routines at an ideal level. The Norwegian team transported over one ton of special food products to their base in Greensboro, North Carolina.

These products help the players adapt more quickly to the new climatic conditions and maintain their familiar diet. Among the items brought to Greensboro were six thousand oranges, three hundred kilograms of Atlantic salmon and white fish, as well as one hundred sixteen kilograms of Norwegian brown cheese.

Oranges were selected as a source of vitamin C and quick energy, while Atlantic salmon and white fish were chosen as high-quality sources of protein necessary for muscle recovery. The brown cheese is considered a traditional and beloved carbohydrate product among Scandinavians.

Due to the inconvenience of local and fast food in the USA and the difficulty of maintaining weight control, the team was accompanied by a personal chef from Norway. Throughout the tournament, he prepares all meals exclusively from the Norwegian-sourced products, tailored to each player's individual load and recovery schedule.

It appears that this professional approach to nutrition and recovery is beginning to show its effectiveness in practice. In their first match of the group stage, Norway defeated the Iraqi team by a score of 4-1.

Following this confident victory, the Norwegians are clearly advancing in their group. According to sports dietitians, significant changes in climate and diet during major tournaments constitute major stress for athletes' organisms.

Products such as Atlantic fish and Norwegian brown cheese provide Norwegian footballers not only with necessary calories but also with a sense of psychological comfort. The team's such meticulousness indicates that they aim to go very far in this championship.
