Memorandum signed between USA and Iran in Switzerland

The global political landscape is currently witnessing unexpected historical and regional geopolitical shifts, as reported by Zamin.uz.
This development was illustrated by a memorandum of understanding signed in Switzerland between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The document, widely disseminated by influential Bloomberg agency and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Arabiya television channel, contains what appears to be a near-final and entirely exclusive text of the agreement.
According to the document, representatives of the two sovereign states reached this ceasefire understanding on June 14. While the White House had pledged to announce the terms of the agreement within the next 48 hours, the official statement has been delayed.
This 14-point document, reportedly leaked to Bloomberg’s editorial team, fully reflects Iran’s future economic and political interests. The key provisions of the bilateral agreement are as follows: military and territorial obligations, economic and financial privileges, logistics and maritime routes, nuclear status quo, and oversight.
The agreement calls for the swift cessation of armed confrontations, the end of military operations in Lebanese territory, mutual respect for sovereignty, and non-interference in internal affairs. Financially, it permits Iran to export oil, fully unfreeze frozen assets, and gradually lift sanctions.
Logistically, Iranian ports will be operationalized, the security of the Strait of Hormuz will be assessed within 30 days, and a plan to restore the Kemal transit route will be implemented. Nuclear matters hold a central position.
U.S. forces will withdraw from the region, Iran will absolutely renounce nuclear weapons, and the level of enriched uranium will be determined at the final stage. No new sanctions will be imposed, and oversight by the UN Security Council will be strengthened.
Regarding the negotiation timeline, the parties intend to engage in intense talks over the next 60 days to finalize a lasting peace agreement. Both nations undertake to respect each other’s sovereignty without conditions and to refrain from any form of interference in internal political affairs.
This understanding holds the potential to advance regional stability and global economic equity to a new stage.
