Zelensky returned Poland's Order of the White Eagle

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he has returned Poland's Order of the White Eagle. Zamin.uz reported this.
The head of state informed on his Telegram page that the award was sent to Poland by mail and published the relevant photos. According to Zelenskyy, the order was accepted in 2023 as a mark of recognition for the Ukrainian people and the armed forces.
Therefore, he noted that he considered this award a symbol of the collective achievements and resilience of the Ukrainian people during a difficult time. However, the President did not fail to express his gratitude to the Polish people.
He specifically emphasized that he is deeply grateful for Ukraine's cooperation with Poland and the help and support of Polish citizens. Previously, reports had spread in the Polish press and on social networks that Karol Nawrocki had stripped Zelenskyy of the Order of the White Eagle against a backdrop of historical disputes.
Zelenskyy's latest statement clarified this event and showed that the return of the award was carried out according to official procedure.
