Bennet: The project to import Starlink to Eronga has not ended

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett made an unexpected statement regarding a secret operation related to Iran. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, in 2021 and 2022, an initiative was launched to purchase tens of thousands of Starlink devices and secretly smuggle them into the country to maintain internet connectivity within Iran and support anti-government protesters. Bennett noted that these devices were intended to allow protesters to communicate with each other, coordinate their actions, and exchange information via the internet.
In the former prime minister's view, had the project been fully implemented, the capabilities of the opposition within Iran would have expanded significantly. Unfortunately, the current government did not see this initiative through.
Bennett stated that when the protests began, the necessary infrastructure was not in place. Consequently, the project ended in failure, and Iranian protesters were left without the required means of communication.
Viewing this situation as a political advantage, Bennett emphasized that the government failed to perform its duty. So far, the Israeli government has not provided an official comment regarding these claims.
There has been no official response from the Iranian side either. Debates between the foreign ministers continue.
