Fire on a balloon in Brazil killed 8 people

A tragedy occurred in a hot air balloon carrying tourists in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The hot air balloon, carrying 21 people, caught fire during flight and crashed to the ground. As a result of the incident, 8 passengers died.
Another 13 people, including the pilot who was operating the balloon, survived. According to local authorities, all passengers have been identified following the incident, and there are no missing persons.
According to preliminary information, the fire started inside the balloon's basket. The pilot stated that he attempted to make an emergency landing and, upon approaching the ground, ordered the passengers to jump as quickly as possible.
Since the tragedy occurred near a medical center, rescue and medical services arrived at the scene quickly. Specialists are currently conducting a comprehensive investigation to determine the exact causes of the crash.
