Venezuela experienced a strong earthquake

Two powerful earthquakes occurred in quick succession in Venezuela. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to images and gauges, the first earthquake was recorded at a magnitude of 7.2. Just 39 seconds later, a second, even stronger earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 occurred.
The strong tremors were felt in the capital, Caracas, and other major cities of the country. Many buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged.
Reports are coming in that residential and administrative buildings have collapsed in some areas, leaving people trapped under the rubble. Rescue services have been working throughout the night to search for those trapped and provide assistance to the injured.
Due to the emergency, a special regime was introduced in Caracas hospitals, and additional medical personnel were called in. The number of victims and injured has not yet been officially announced.
However, preliminary data from some areas indicate that there are fatalities and dozens of injured. According to experts, this could be one of the strongest earthquakes to occur in Venezuela in the next hundred years.
