Zelenskiy confirms 40-day special operation against Russia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially approved a 40-day major special operation plan by Ukraine’s Security Service aimed at increasing pressure on Russia and ending the war, according to Zamin.uz.
The head of state announced this on his Telegram page. The plan is expected to completely change the situation at the front and the pace of the war.
According to Zelenskyy, Yevhen Khmar, acting head of the Security Service, briefed him on ongoing special operations, the activities of the renowned Alfa Center, and intelligence reports on new fronts against Russia. Behind the diplomatic language of long- and medium-term sanctions used by Ukrainian officials lie very serious military actions.
These are powerful and precise strikes using drones against military and energy facilities deep inside Russia, as well as in Crimea. The president specifically acknowledged that in recent months, various unmanned aerial vehicles have proven highly effective in protecting the front line, and that the Alfa special unit inflicts the greatest damage on Russian manpower and equipment.
The goal is to force the Kremlin to the negotiating table. Just a few days earlier, Zelenskyy had emphatically stated that if Ukraine had the necessary means and weapons agreed upon with the G7 countries, it could compel Russia to choose the path of peace.
This 40-day intensive plan is precisely aimed at that objective. The strategy is already beginning to show its strength in practice.
In recent days, drone attacks on infrastructure in Crimea and Russian regions have intensified. The Poltavskaya oil base in Krasnodar Krai was struck by Ukrainian drones, triggering a powerful blaze at this strategic facility.
This base is the main source of fuel supply for Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Adygea. Drone attacks were announced on the Balaklava and Tavriya thermal power stations.
Intense explosions were recorded near the Kacha military airfield. As a result of drone strikes, short-term major power outages were observed in the areas surrounding Simferopol, Yalta, and Yevpatoriya.
So far, Russia has not issued an official statement regarding the consequences of this new 40-day plan by Ukraine’s Security Service and the nighttime attacks.
