Due to the Paris heat wave, 109 people died in one day

Anomalous heat in Paris, the capital of France, is causing serious consequences. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Within a single day, 109 people died in the city, according to data from the emergency medical service, as reported by Franceinfo.
It is known that during the period corresponding to the first ten days of June, temperatures in the capital reached as high as thirty-nine degrees. As a result, within twenty-four hours, the emergency medical service officially recorded 190 cases of fainting.
It should be noted that, on average, about seven people die per day in Paris during this period of the year. The current figure is therefore several times higher than usual.
To be precise, this statistics includes only cases of fainting recorded by emergency medical personnel in homes and public places. Cases of fainting in hospitals were not included in this report.
Therefore, the actual number of victims may be even higher. According to records, during this period, the emergency medical service received approximately three thousand and forty calls.
This indicates a sharp increase in the number of people whose condition worsened due to the heat. Furthermore, Faben Yuge, director of the Family Obsques funeral services bureau, stated in an interview with journalists that morgues in Paris are nearly full due to the rising number of deaths caused by the anomalous heat.
Experts are urging the population to avoid going outside during the hottest parts of the day, to drink plenty of water, and to pay special attention to elderly individuals and those with chronic illnesses.
