Donald Trump was gifted a gold-plated toilet adorned with diamonds

Antwerp World Diamond Centre presented a special gold bracelet to U.S. President Donald Trump in honor of the 250th anniversary of American independence, Zamin.uz reported.
The valuable gift, adorned with 321 natural diamonds, was formally handed over to U.S. Ambassador to Belgium Bill Whitby. The organization shared the news through its official social media pages.
The unique jewelry piece is crafted from solid gold and, in addition to diamonds, features 75 other precious stones. The gift is regarded as a distinctive symbol of long-standing economic cooperation and strong trade relations between the two nations.
According to center officials, the United States has long been one of Antwerp’s most important and reliable trade partners. A significant portion of natural diamonds sold in this Belgian city is destined for the American market and local consumers.
The center expressed hope that the bracelet would further strengthen the close economic ties between the countries. It also emphasized that only natural stones were used in the creation of the jewelry item.
Experts note that although distinguishing natural from synthetic diamonds by appearance can be difficult, their origin, rarity, and market value differ significantly. Natural stones have always been considered superior due to their high status and worth.
Antwerp has proudly held the title of the world’s diamond capital for five centuries. Nearly 80% of rough diamonds mined globally are traded through the city’s exchanges.
In Antwerp’s famous diamond district, over 1,700 major companies from around the world operate successfully in their offices. Historical records indicate that the first official diamond exchange in the world was established in this city in 1863.
Today, alongside the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, four other major and influential trading exchanges operate in the region, collectively managing a significant share of the global precious stones market. This gift is also recognized as a continuation of that storied legacy.
