Azerbaijan: Woman becomes mother for the first time at 63

A sixty-three-year-old woman in Azerbaijan has experienced the joy of motherhood for the first time after thirty-eight years of longing and attempts. Zamin.uz reported on this.

For nearly thirty-eight years, the woman lived with the desire to have a child, but for various reasons, she was unable to become pregnant. According to her treating gynecologist, Candidate of Medical Sciences Natiq Maharramov, the patient never gave up hope despite years of unsuccessful attempts.

Finally, yesterday she gave birth to a healthy son, achieving her long-awaited dream. Representatives of the medical institution are calling this case a very rare occurrence.

The patient's doctor had previously announced this joyful news on his social media page, emphasizing that years of patience have borne fruit. According to him, despite the risks associated with the woman's age and health, the process went even better than expected.
