Shooting occurred during the celebration of Independence Day in the United States
In the United States, Independence Day celebrations turned tragic in several cities due to a series of shootings, according to Zamin.uz.
According to the latest reports, at least six people were killed and dozens injured in armed attacks. International media outlets are reporting on the incidents.
One of the most shocking incidents occurred in the Coney Island area of Brooklyn, New York. According to eyewitnesses, an unidentified person wearing a black face covering opened fire indiscriminately on people gathered for a family celebration.
As a result of the attack, eight people were injured, four of whom are minors. The armed clashes were not limited to New York alone.
Similar violent incidents were also reported in the states of Indiana, California, Missouri, and Ohio. Alarmingly, in many cases, both victims and perpetrators included teenagers and even younger children.
In a shooting in the center of Pensacola, Florida, a 19-year-old youth died at the scene, and six others were hospitalized with serious injuries. In Indiana, various clashes resulted in the death of one woman and a 10-year-old boy.
Eight adults were placed under medical supervision in Indiana. The situation in Missouri remains unstable as well.
There, a 17-year-old youth died from injuries caused by a firearm. Additionally, two 16-year-old teenagers were hospitalized in critical condition.
Law enforcement agencies are currently investigating the causes of these crimes and working to apprehend those responsible. Security measures have been intensified nationwide.
