As a result of the attack on Kyiv, seven people were killed

The Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, was subjected to a large-scale attack using missiles and drones on the night leading up to July 6. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to preliminary data, at least seven people died and 24 citizens sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of this tragic event. Representatives of the Ukrainian Air Force stated that ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as kamikaze drones, were used simultaneously during the attack.
This placed serious pressure on the city's defense system. The presence of children among the injured underscores the severity of the situation.
Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv city military administration, confirmed the number of fatalities. According to Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko, 14 of the 24 injured people were urgently hospitalized.
Among them are two young children. Since search and rescue operations for those trapped under the rubble are still ongoing, the number of victims may increase.
Several districts of Kyiv suffered serious damage as a result of the attack. In particular, part of a multi-story residential building collapsed in the Podolsk district.
Initial reports indicated that people were trapped on the upper floors of the building. Through the efforts of rescuers, 15 citizens, including three women and six children, were safely evacuated from the building.
Additionally, other houses, garages, and cars in this district were damaged by falling missile debris. Multi-story buildings were also damaged in the Darnitskiy, Obolonskiy, and Goloseyevskiy districts, and fires broke out in some areas.
Emergency services personnel are conducting search operations at every location. The tragedy was not limited to the capital.
It was reported that one person died and ten citizens were injured in the Bucha district of the Kyiv region. A number of enterprises and civilian infrastructure objects in the region were destroyed.
On the same night, the city of Odesa was also targeted by drone attacks. According to information provided by the regional administration, a 23-year-old man was injured, and several private houses and dormitories were damaged.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had previously warned about such mass attacks. He called on international partners to help strengthen the country's air defense system and to accelerate the delivery of necessary equipment.
Currently, rescuers and doctors are working in an intensified mode across all affected areas.
