Netanyahu: “The likelihood of a power change in Tehran is high, the Iranian regime has weakened”
Amid the conflict in the Middle East, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a significant statement. In an interview with Fox News on June 15, he discussed the possibility of a power change in Iran, emphasizing that such a process could occur due to the strikes by the Israeli army.

— The Iranian regime has weakened significantly. In such weakened conditions, a change in power is natural. Israel's attacks are aimed not only at protecting our country but also all of humanity, — Netanyahu said in the interview.

Nuclear threat and missiles – the main targets

According to the Israeli leader, the ongoing military operation is aimed at eliminating two major threats from Iran – nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles. He stated that these weapons could make the world's most dangerous regime even more powerful, and this cannot be allowed.

— We will fight with all our strength to ensure that nuclear weapons do not fall into the hands of the most dangerous regime in the world. Iran has already retreated in its nuclear program. This is the result of our attacks, — he said.

Israeli planes dominate the skies over Tehran

According to Netanyahu's statement, the Israeli military has opened a "direct route" to the Iranian capital and now has the capability to deliver precise strikes on designated targets. The Israeli army announced that since June 14, it has established full control over the skies of Tehran and western Iran.

Coordinated actions with the US and Trump's stance

Netanyahu also stated that the operations are being conducted in full coordination with US President Donald Trump. This highlights the strengthening of strategic cooperation between Israel and America.

At the same time, Donald Trump acknowledged in an interview with Fox News that he was aware of the strikes being carried out against Iran in advance. However, he stated that America was not directly involved in these attacks and, on the contrary, hoped for peace negotiations.

— If Iran retaliates, we will defend ourselves and Israel. However, we also hope to return to the negotiating table and choose the path of peace. An agreement should be reached before Iran has nothing left, — said the US president.

The conflict between Israel and Iran is evolving into not just a military struggle but also a geopolitical clash. Netanyahu's statement that "the regime is weak" indicates that the likelihood of political changes within Iran is increasing. Despite claims of non-participation in the attacks, the US will maintain its influence in the region and keep the door open for negotiations.
