The robot Pemba in Ecuador conquered the summit of the Chimborazo volcano

In Ecuador, a robot named Pemba, designed in human form, has opened a new chapter in the history of global technology, as reported by Zamin.uz.
This humanoid robot was lifted from sea level to an altitude of six thousand meters, setting a unique world record. As part of this exceptional project, the robot, alongside humans, successfully conquered the summit of Chimborazo volcano—one of Ecuador’s highest points.
According to experts, this mountainous region is considered one of the most challenging trials even for experienced mountaineers due to its extremely complex terrain, harsh climatic conditions, and high elevation. Pemba overcame all difficulties and reached the designated altitude.
Upon reaching the summit, the robot celebrated its victory in an unusual way—by dancing. These joyful moments, captured on video, quickly spread across social media, astonishing people worldwide.
The engineers and scientists working on this project do not intend to stop at this achievement. Currently, they are conducting research to further improve the robot’s mobility and endurance.
The researchers’ next major goal is to use Pemba to conquer Everest—the highest point on Earth. If this plan succeeds, it will represent a giant leap, demonstrating that humanity’s capabilities in robotics have expanded significantly.
Such technological achievements will pave the way for the effective use of robots in rescue operations and research under extreme conditions in the future.
