Berlinda's five-year-old doctor was killed by a hit-and-run driver.

In Berlin, the capital of Germany, a court verdict was announced against a doctor responsible for the deaths of fifteen patients. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The court found the 41-year-old healthcare worker guilty of intentional killing and sentenced him to life imprisonment. During the trial, it was established that the defendant endangered the lives of twelve women and three men between September 2021 and July 2024.

In accordance with national legislation, the defendant’s full name was not disclosed publicly. According to the indictment, the doctor visited patients’ homes and administered mixtures of various medications without their consent and without medical necessity.

Special expert conclusions confirmed that these preparations were extremely dangerous to human life and that the victims died precisely under the influence of these substances. The youngest deceased was twenty-five years old, while the oldest was ninety-four.

As emphasized in court, although these individuals were suffering from serious illnesses, there were no medical indications suggesting their imminent death. The case materials also included information about the doctor’s attempts to conceal traces of his crimes.

In some cases, he tried to destroy evidence by setting fire to the homes where patients had died. Notably, in July of this year, he was detained on suspicion of causing the deaths of two elderly individuals in a single day.

During the trial, the defendant, who had remained silent for a long time, eventually admitted his actions. He attempted to justify his behavior by claiming he wanted to relieve patients from suffering and asked for forgiveness from the relatives of the victims.

Currently, law enforcement authorities are investigating the doctor’s possible involvement in other suspicious death cases. Proceedings continue in another seventy-six cases.

If these suspicions are proven, this incident will be recorded as one of the most horrifying series of killings in German history. In addition to the life sentence imposed by the court verdict, the defendant has been permanently barred from working in the medical field.
