In Karakalpakstan, strong heat has temporarily suspended garden activities

Due to the observed abnormally hot weather conditions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the activity of all state and non-state preschool education institutions in the city of Nukus and eight districts has been temporarily suspended. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made to preserve the health of children in the region and protect them from the harmful effects of extreme heat. According to information provided by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the closure of kindergartens has been approved by special decisions of local administrations.
According to the specified dates, kindergartens in the city of Nukus will not operate from July 13 to July 18 of the current year. In the Amudarya district, this restriction will be in effect for a relatively short period, from July 13 to July 15.
In the Beruniy, Taxiatosh, Shumanay, Moynoq, Qonlikol, and Tortkol districts, preschool education institutions will be closed from July 13 to July 17. In the Khojeyli district, as in the capital, the holiday period has been set from July 13 to July 18.
According to explanations from ministry officials, such sharp measures are being taken based on the conclusions and recommendations of specialists from the Sanitary-Epidemiological Welfare and Public Health Service. During periods of intense heat, children being in public places and educational institutions may face serious threats to their health.
Therefore, to prevent possible unfavorable conditions, temporary restrictions have been introduced. At the same time, specialists and officials in the sector have appealed to parents individually.
They urged parents to always pay attention to their children's health, not to keep them outdoors for long periods during the hottest parts of the day, and to strictly follow all precautionary measures recommended by doctors. The operation of kindergartens will resume in the usual manner after the weather conditions stabilize.
