According to research, some of their sounds may be related to social relationships and communication within the group. Currently, scientists are analyzing thousands of hours of audio recordings with the aid of artificial intelligence.

AI is helping to identify repetitive sounds and patterns that are difficult for the human ear to detect. However, scientists have not yet fully translated the “language” of whales.

Nevertheless, these studies may help in better understanding and protecting the mysterious communication of marine animals in the future. Perhaps humans will not be able to speak with whales, but they are getting closer than ever to grasping the hidden meanings in their voices.
