La Scala theater has tightened its dress code
The famous La Scala opera theater located in Milan, Italy, reminded its audience of the necessity to strictly adhere to the dress code. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

The theater administration announced that spectators wearing beach attire such as shorts, tank tops, and flip-flops would not be allowed into the theater. This measure has been implemented to show respect for high-level cultural events.

The management of La Scala has announced specific etiquette rules at the theater doors. It requires choosing attire appropriate for the theater's dignity, and those who do not comply with the established rules will not receive a refund for their tickets.

These rules have been in effect since 2015, but recently their enforcement has been strengthened. Bringing food and drinks into the theater is prohibited, and taking photos and videos during the performance is not allowed.

Additionally, sharing phones in the balcony boxes has also been banned, as such situations have caused discomfort. La Scala staff emphasize that these rules have been implemented to preserve culture and etiquette and to create a comfortable environment for all spectators.

It is specifically noted that women are allowed to wear dresses or embellished strapless blouses, and traditional Japanese kimonos and appropriate footwear are not considered flip-flops. While suits and ties were previously recommended on tickets, now the theater requires at least comfortable and decent attire.

Those planning to attend an opera performance in Milan must adhere to culture and standards. Because in a cultural center, dressing cultured is also considered important.
