
The results of the 2025 "Miss World" international competition were announced in Hyderabad, India. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A total of 108 participants took part in this prestigious competition. The title was won by the representative of Thailand, Opal Suchata Chuangsri.
In the final, Ethiopian Hasset Derej Admasu was awarded the title of first runner-up. The competition was held for the 72nd time and was hosted by the 2016 winner Stefani del Valle and the famous Indian presenter Sachin Kumbhar.
India hosted this international competition for the second consecutive year. Nandini Gupta, who represented India, reached the final stage and made it to the top 20.
“India is historically a successful country in the 'Miss World' competition. Six participants from the country have held this title.
Among them are Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mukhi (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chhillar (2017). The 'Miss World' competition evaluates not only external beauty but also intelligence, social activism, and dedication to humanitarianism.
Winners actively participate in various charity events around the world, engage with the public, and promote important social projects.
