On the night of July 10 to July 11, a new major attack was carried out on the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, by the Russian Federation. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
As a result of the attack, strong explosions occurred in the city, leading to widespread destruction and fires. Local residents reported hearing multiple explosions and the noise of unmanned aerial vehicles.
These events attracted significant attention both within the country and from the international community. According to official information, drones and ballistic missiles were used simultaneously in the attack.
According to Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv city military administration, damage was recorded in six districts of the city. Residential buildings, vehicles, warehouses, offices, and other types of buildings were damaged, and fires broke out in many facilities.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko provided prompt information to the public via Telegram. He noted that large fires occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi, Darnytskyi, Solomianskyi, Holosiivskyi, and Podilskyi districts due to the crash of unmanned aerial vehicles.
The upper floors of some residential buildings were completely destroyed, with fallen debris landing in courtyards. According to Timur Tkachenko, two people were killed as a result of the attack, and 13 others were injured.
Klitschko stated that the number of injured had reached 14, with nine of them hospitalized, while the others received assistance on-site. The outpatient clinic of the primary medical care center No. 1 in the Podilskyi district was almost completely destroyed.
The city mayor urged the population to strictly adhere to safety measures. He emphasized not to open windows, as the level of harmful substances in the air had increased due to explosions and fires.
For this reason, it is necessary to take precautions to ensure safety. The situation in the districts is also severe, with a fire occurring on the upper floor of a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
In the Darnytskyi district, garages and a gas station burned down. In the Solomianskyi district, the roof of a non-residential building collapsed, in the Holosiivskyi district, a truck caught fire, and in the Podilskyi district, debris fell from a building onto the area.
The emergency service promptly intervened in the incidents and extinguished several fires. However, explosions, fallen construction materials, and debris complicated the rescuers' work.
This new attack is a serious test for the residents of Kyiv, causing not only material damage but also moral suffering. People see their homes and loved ones in danger, facing new threats and trials every night.
After the attack, anxiety and vigilance in the city increased further. Today's events once again demonstrated that there is a significant threat to the civilian population, infrastructure, and daily life.
The international community continues to respond to the events in Kyiv. City officials are calling on the population to maintain safety measures and patience.
This night in Kyiv will remain in history as another painful and dangerous event.
