The US has resumed military aid deliveries to Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On July 9, Reuters reported, citing two American officials, that a shipment of 155mm artillery shells and GMLRS mobile rockets had been sent to Kyiv. This decision is being viewed as an important step in the complex situation in Ukraine.
Officials did not provide detailed information about the exact quantity of the shipment and the delivery process. So far, no information has been disclosed about other types of weapons, including air defense and air-to-ground missiles.
At the same time, according to some sources, the aid package may be expanded in the future. It is worth noting that US President Donald Trump recently personally discussed the issue of sending Patriot missile defense systems to Ukraine.
The previous shipment included 30 Patriot missile systems, over 8,500 155mm artillery shells, more than 250 GMLRS precision-guided missiles, and 142 Hellfire air-to-ground missiles. The shipment had been temporarily halted.
During a meeting at the White House on July 8, Donald Trump approved the US's defense assistance to Ukraine. This aid will significantly enhance the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian army and is of strategic importance.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an evening video address that he had given specific instructions to Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskiy to activate military relations with America and strengthen cooperation between the two countries. Currently, military-technical cooperation between the US and Ukraine has become more active, with both countries striving to elevate their defense partnership to a new level.
This news is being closely monitored by international experts, analysts, and especially the Ukrainian public. The arrival of the new shipment in Kyiv and its impact on the front-line situation will become clear in the coming days.
Cooperation between Washington and Kyiv is expected to strengthen further, which could be a significant test period for Ukraine
