
Metro service in Brussels has been temporarily suspended due to an unfortunate incident. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the capital's transport operator STIB/MIVB, a man's body was found in the tunnel between the "Porte des Halles" and "Hôtel de Monnaie" stations. As a result of this incident, services on lines 2 and 6 have been temporarily suspended since 1:00 PM.
Service will not resume until the investigation is complete. Additionally, service between the "Tron" and "Brussels-Midi" stations has also been temporarily canceled.
The identity of the deceased and how he ended up in the metro tunnel has not yet been determined. Local authorities are advising citizens to use surface transport, especially trams.
Investigations are ongoing, and all necessary measures are being taken to determine the causes of the incident. Transport operators are asking passengers to be patient.
