Putin will only meet with Zelensky if Ukraine surrenders
According to the words of Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Kislitsa, Russian President Vladimir Putin is only agreeing to hold direct negotiations with Vladimir Zelensky on the condition that Ukraine surrenders. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to diplomatic sources, the Russian side's approach is completely ultimatum and leaves no room for balance in negotiations. Ukraine, on the other hand, is proposing to organize a summit to create a constructive environment and stop the war, but Moscow insists that Ukraine must surrender first, and only then should a meeting of leaders take place.

Kislitsa believes that Ukraine will continue to organize a meeting between Zelensky and Putin under any circumstances. The reason is that all important decisions in Russia are made only with Putin's personal approval.

Therefore, negotiation groups or delegations are merely for show and do not yield real results. Diplomatic experiences, particularly the Minsk processes, serve as a clear example of this.

Despite meetings and negotiations, no significant achievements have been made. Russian diplomats are currently proposing meetings of specialists, exchanging phone numbers, and continuing communication.

However, Ukraine assesses this tactic as an attempt to buy time and to appear sincere in front of the international community. Experts believe that Moscow is trying to maintain its geopolitical influence and lead Kyiv into a political crisis in this way.

At the same time, the Ukrainian leadership is completely rejecting the idea of surrender. As a result, the situation surrounding the meeting between Zelensky and Putin is becoming increasingly complicated.

Discussions about the summit may continue for a long time, but due to the completely conflicting views of the parties, it is difficult to expect a positive outcome from the negotiations. This situation may lead to the continuation of the war and delays in finding a political solution.
