Three soldiers killed in explosion near Jabalia

As a result of a powerful explosion near the city of Jabalia, three soldiers of the Israeli army were killed. This was reported by The Times of Israel.

The lost soldiers were identified as Staff Sergeant Shoham Menachem (21 years old), Sergeant Shlomo Yakir Shrem (20 years old), and Sergeant Yuli Faktor (19 years old), who were part of the 52nd battalion of the 401st armored brigade. According to the Israel Defense Forces, these soldiers were participating in military operations in the city of Jabalia at the time of the explosion and were inside an armored vehicle that was damaged.

As a result of the tragedy, another officer was seriously injured and hospitalized. An investigation is currently underway regarding the exact causes of the incident.

The defense ministries are closely monitoring the situation in southern Gaza. Analysts believe there is a possibility of further escalation of military actions.
