At a time when the security environment in Europe is intensifying, US Air Force Lieutenant General Alexus Grinkevich, who leads NATO's allied forces on the continent, announced that all necessary preparations have begun for the urgent delivery of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to dw.com, Grinkevich spoke at a meeting held in Wiesbaden, Germany, emphasizing that preparations are being carried out vigorously and that they are coordinating with Germany on the delivery of Patriot systems to Ukraine.
He stated that everything has been instructed to be completed as quickly as possible. This process signifies a new phase in Ukraine's air defense.
However, a representative of the German Ministry of Defense stated that they do not have specific information about whether certain parts of the Patriot system have already been delivered to Ukraine or are currently on the way. He cannot confirm that anything has been sent so far.
The cautious statements from officials are noteworthy. Additionally, a meeting of the communication group in the Ramstein format is planned for July 21, where the issue of delivering Patriot missile systems to Ukraine more quickly for protection against Russian air attacks will be discussed.
Experts believe that this step will significantly enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities and could lead to serious changes in the security balance in Europe. Fans and experts are closely monitoring this process.
A new defense barrier for Ukraine is expected to be created through the Patriot systems.
