The United States may force Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to resign. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was stated by the famous American independent journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner Seymour Hersh. According to him, there are serious concerns among US officials that Zelensky's continued presence in power could complicate the situation in Ukraine further.
According to some sources, Washington currently considers the Kyiv leadership ineffective and even counterproductive. Hersh emphasized that discussions are underway within the US administration regarding potential candidates to succeed Zelensky.
Due to the worsening political and military situation, America believes it is necessary to establish new leadership. Washington plans to first persuade Zelensky to leave office peacefully.
If this does not happen, pressure tactics may be employed. At the same time, US officials have not made any statements on this matter so far.
It should be noted that Zelensky is currently receiving significant military and financial assistance from the US and Western countries. However, many questions are arising regarding his policies and strategic decisions in the war.
This situation is also being viewed as a significant issue within the international community.
