The Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan has developed a new draft decision aimed at further strengthening the rights of vehicle owners. This was reported by Upl.uz.
This document has been submitted for public discussion on the SOVAZ portal and envisages amendments to the existing regulations governing the formalization of transactions related to motor vehicles. The draft specifies as the most important innovation the mandatory indication of the right to export a vehicle from the territory of Uzbekistan through a power of attorney.
The new power of attorney form and the questionnaire submitted for its formalization will regulate this opportunity with a clear and separate provision. The main goal of these changes is to increase transparency and reliability in the process of formalizing powers of attorney.
At the same time, this measure serves to prevent the export of vehicles without the consent of their owners. Vehicle owners can ensure that their property is protected and under control.
